1946 Discharged from army and returned to Melbourne
  Enrolled in rehabilitation program - art school, Swinburne Technical College
  Exhibited work in Melbourne
1949 Moved to Sydney and then Thursday Island
1951 Married June Bethell
1953 Commissioned paintings for St Paul Lockhart Mission
1955 Lived in Melbourne - Art Teacher, Swinburne Technical College
1961 Returned to live in Queensland
1961-68 Numerous painting trips to Cape York, Western Australia, New Guinea and Fiji
